About the project
Autonative helps vehicle manufacturers and dealers go online and thrive in omnichannel retail. Originally starting in the US, they’ve expanded across Europe, serving the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, and France, with high-profile clients like Ford, Toyota, and Renault.
When Autonative approached us, they had a common but critical challenge: too much manual processing and frequent miscommunication between dealers and customers. They needed a smarter, automated system that reduced errors and saved time.
Our solution? A complex platform that centralizes marketplace orders and streamlines processing order processing. Along with this, we delivered a range of customizations, making their operations smarter and more efficient.

What we did
We developed a dealer portal—a dedicated platform that connected customers placing orders on Shopify, eBay, or Amazon, to authorized dealers handling installations. Our solution is automated and efficient, bringing clarity to a process that was once prone to delays and miscommunication.
Here’s how the platform works: when a customer places an order, the car manufacturer ships the part and notifies the dealer through the portal. The dealer confirms its arrival, triggering an update to the customer that the part is ready for pick-up or installation. Once the job is done, the dealer marks the order as complete, and this status is synced back to Autonative and the car manufacturer.

When a new order comes in, our tools instantly verify that all the necessary data is in place. Orders are automatically routed—some are processed right away, some are held, and some are flagged for review.

Our custom Shopify app automates scheduling for part installations. Dealers get instant notifications of new orders and proposed times, which customers can accept or adjust. The old process of back-and-forth phone calls is gone, eliminating missed connections and confusion. Now, everything is tracked, reducing miscommunication.

We developed custom reports tailored to Autonative’s business needs, including automated compliance reports to meet tax regulations across multiple countries.
Simplified financial and tax operations
Simply delivering an order isn’t enough. Every order needs to be accurately submitted to tax authorities and reported to the car manufacturer to ensure smooth reconciliations at the end of each quarter or year. So, we’ve built apps and macros that handle everything—from generating detailed reports to transmitting data via API.
Take Italy, for instance. Their strict regulations demand that buyers provide an identity card number for online purchases. Without it, orders can’t move forward or be filed with the tax authorities. Our customization verifies orders, flags missing details, and routes them for further processing, preventing delays and compliance issues.
Shipping integrations
Since Autonative sells bulky car parts, standard courier services often aren’t practical. We built custom shipping integrations, giving them the flexibility to choose couriers that fit their unique needs. Our solution lets them generate shipping labels and dispatch orders, always pairing shipments with the ideal courier for maximum efficiency and cost savings.
