About the project
Autonative helps vehicle manufacturers and dealers go online and thrive in omnichannel retail. They started in the US and have since expanded across Europe, serving the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, and France, with big names like Ford, Toyota, and Renault on board.
Their problem was painfully familiar: too much manual processing and constant miscommunication between dealers and customers. In automotive e-commerce, that’s more than a nuisance — success depends on flawless logistics and the ability to handle everything from tiny parts to hazardous shipments. They needed a smart, automated system that could cut errors, save time, and scale operations efficiently while keeping every delivery fast, reliable, and fully compliant.

What we did
We built a dealer portal — a single hub connecting customers on Shopify, eBay, or Amazon with the dealers handling installations.
Simple, clear, and no more lost emails, missed calls, or finger-pointing.
The flow is simple: once a customer places an order, the manufacturer ships the part and updates the dealer through the portal. The dealer confirms arrival, the customer gets a notification that it’s ready for pick-up or installation, and when the job is done, the dealer marks it complete. Every status update syncs automatically across Autonative and the manufacturer, keeping everyone in the loop without lifting a finger.
And we reached our initial goal: to turn a messy, delay-prone process into something smooth, automated, and headache-free.
Invoicing
Every invoice gets its own unique ID, with status, timestamps, charges, and customer details all linked back to the order. No more digging through spreadsheets to match numbers.
Open orders management
See every open order at a glance — invoice, status, customer info, even scheduled appointments. Filter by date range when you want to get specific.
Closed orders overview
Need history? Closed orders stay fully detailed: order and invoice numbers, customer details, appointment times, installation status. Search and filter so you don’t waste time scrolling.

Optimized order workflows
When a new order lands, the system instantly checks if the data’s complete and decides whether to process, hold, or flag it. Order-splitting automatically finds where parts are stored, consolidates them, and gets them out the door. Warehouse staff see, process, and dispatch without delay, so no more manual stock hunts.
Automated scheduling for installation orders
The back-and-forth calls are history. Our custom Shopify app automates scheduling so dealers get order alerts with proposed times and customers confirm or adjust online. Everything’s tracked, nothing gets lost in translation.

In Italy, for example, orders without an ID number can’t move forward, so our system flags and routes them before they cause trouble.
Shipping integrations
Autonative moves bulky, awkward car parts. Standard couriers aren’t always up to the job. So we built custom integrations that let them pick the right carrier every time, print labels on the spot, and get orders out without the usual courier drama.
