About the project
The project is a product-focused adtech platform that delivers a journey-based approach to advertising, combining media planning, execution, and analytics within one unified system.
This role is designed for a technical professional with a solid foundation in Linux/Windows environments, virtualization, and modern DevOps practices. You will work closely with senior engineers and the DevOps team to maintain, automate, and scale our global infrastructure.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who has moved past the junior phase and is ready to take ownership of complex systems while continuing to grow their expertise in Kubernetes and high-scale automation.
Key responsibilities
Systems administration and support
- Maintain and optimize Linux and Windows Server environments to ensure high
availability and security. - Support and manage VMware environments and virtualization infrastructure.
- Assist in the management of on-premise, co-location, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain server and network hardware throughout its lifecycle, including troubleshooting and capacity reporting.
Cloud-native and containers
- Support the deployment and operation of Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Use Containerd, Docker, and associated tooling to manage containerized applications.
- Implement best practices for monitoring and maintaining cluster health.
Networking and automation
- Configure and troubleshoot enterprise networking components (DNS, DHCP, BGP, TCP/IP).
- Assist in the administration of Cisco and Juniper network devices.
- Contribute to the development of automation scripts to streamline repetitive infrastructure tasks.
DevOps and programming
- Develop and maintain automation tools using Python or Go.
- Apply DevOps methodologies to improve CI/CD workflows and configuration
Management.
Operational excellence
- Follow ITIL principles for incident, problem, and change management.
- Participate in proactive monitoring and disaster recovery testing.
- Document technical processes and infrastructure configurations clearly.
Required qualifications
Experience: 5–7 years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure administration.
Certifications
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is a strong asset. ITIL Foundations (v3 or v4) preferred.
Technical proficiency
- Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with VMware administration.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, BGP, TCP/IP).
- Competency in Python, Go, or another object-oriented language.
- Experience with MySQL administration (backups, basic performance tuning).
- Practical experience working with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with server hardware and co-location environments.
- English and Ukrainian languages at Upper Intermediate level or higher.
